Thank you for considering me as one of your options for legal counsel. I realize that there are many choices available to you, and I look forward to hearing from you soon so we can talk about your case and chart a course for the future.
Why do I defend the accused?
It has been my privilege to defend the Constitution of the United States for my entire professional life. While on active duty in the United States Air Force, I served for 9 years as officer/aviator. Upon my separation from active duty in 2011, I joined the United States Air Force Reserve and have been serving as an officer/aviator in a reserve capacity ever since. The Bill of Rights contained within the Constitution grants very specific rights to the criminally accused, and I will defend yours to the utmost of my ability.
Why do I try to keep my rates low?
The first clients I ever defended were indigent or very low income clients. Right from the start, I remember thinking "Why in the world is it so expensive for people to defend themselves against criminal charges?" Attorneys' fees on top of court costs seemed to always add up to a small fortune. Keeping this in mind, I am committed to making my practice as efficient as possible in order to ensure that the costs incurred by my clients are manageable. By maintaining a simple office, making effective use of technology, and utilizing the latest case management software, I am able to operate efficiently and control costs. By keeping costs down, I am able to ensure that my services are accessible to as many people as possible.
